The Gloucester 1682 Trust
The Gloucester 1682 Trust has been formed to secure the heritage future of the Gloucester and the connected artefacts by fundraising to develop a permanent home in Great Yarmouth. The Trust’s governing body is chaired by General the Lord Richard Dannatt and includes non-salaried Trustees and a Development Board.
UEA's Vice Chancellor Professor David Maguire serves as Vice Patron of the Trust and Professor Claire Jowitt is on the Development Board.
The Gloucester 1682 Trust are recruiting new Trustees
The Trust are looking for four new Trustees with expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:
Financial management and accounting
Legal
Maritime archaeology
Business planning
Operations and heritage
Experience of the charity sector would be preferred but is not essential.
As a Trustee you will play an important role in helping develop the organisation and strategy as it moves forward to realise this exciting project. Board meetings are held in person, bi-monthly, in and around Norwich.
